Are you always exposing your skin out in the sun? Wearing a hat or sunglasses is not enough if you are going out for a walk on a hot sunny day. You’ll need to use a sunblock to protect your skin from premature skin aging such as wrinkles, dark spots and worst, skin cancer.

Sunblock plays a vital role to protect our skin from the sun’s damaging UV radiation. Sunblock is good, but it is much better if you’re going to use a 100% natural sunblock in your skin. The sad thing is, I still haven’t found a 100% natural sunblock on the market. I always check the ingredients label and most sunblock that sold over the counter contains zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. I don’t like these ingredients, since I read that it can cause skin irritation.

So, I make my own homemade 100% natural sunscreen recipe that I can use during spring time and sunny days.

 

Ingredients:

 

140g Shea butter (SPF 6)

85g Olive Oil (SPF 15)

1 tsp. Raspberry seed oil (SPF 20-40)

1 tsp. Carrot seed oil (SPF 30-40)

1 tsp. corn starch

 

Here are the things you’ll going to need to make the best sunscreen recipe:

 

Large bowl

A pack of ice

Stick blender

Measuring cup (that can be used on microwave)

A canister or any jar to put the sunblock cream

A freezer

 

Directions:

This is an easy do it your own natural sunscreen recipe. First of all, you’ll need to mix the olive oil and Shea butter in the measuring cup. Put them in the microwave and heat it up. If you see that they’re almost melted, take it out in the microwave oven and stir it until it is completely melted.

The next step is to add the 1 tsp. of carrot seed oil, raspberry seed oil and corn starch in the measuring cup. You’ll need a fork to mix it entirely together.

This time, you will need to put the mixture in the freezer for about 5 minutes, to cool it a little bit. Then get some ice and cold water and put it in a large bowl. After 5 minutes, get the measuring cup out of the freezer and properly place it in the center of the bowl.
